Keyword Research Services - Read My In Depth Test Of One

If you aren’t a guru then you may (like me) find keyword research difficult. Actually, it’s not a problem finding them. My problem is finding good keywords.

I thought the data from Google’s keyword tool was always bang on. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Sadly, that’s not always how it goes.

The data returned isn’t accurate. However it would have been when they collated it. I stumbled across the solution to this particular conundrum.

I homed in on a key phrase with roughly 5000 competing websites. Great I thought, I can nail that. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.

It didn’t take long to notice there were now over 9000 competing sites. I was shocked at this huge difference. Looked like it was going to be hard work. I was relieved to see that an awful lot of these competitors were showing my articles.

I would have definitely avoided this key phrase had I saw 9000 competing web pages. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. A win win situation if you ask me.

I knew I wasn’t going to get lucky all the time so I decided to try a keyword research service. I was looking to get some decent keywords delivered on a daily basis. I calculated the cost against the time it would take me and it seemed a value for money concept.

There were a few to choose from but I went with Travis Sago and his Instacash service. After all, he’s the king of the bum marketers. And bum marketing really appeals to me.

It takes me an hour or two to come up with a couple of decent keywords. Getting them delivered is a huge help. Two hours or so to me is quite valuable. Put that couples hours saved against the daily cost and it adds up to value.

All the big marketers bang on about outsourcing. I reckon there’s not much difference here. Outsourcing my keyword research to someone else.
